Holding Space: A Monthly Community Gathering for Black Women
Holding Space is a monthly virtual series designed to provide Black women with a safe, affirming space for reflection, healing, and connection. Held on the fourth Sunday of each month, this gathering offers an intentional pause—a time to process emotions, share experiences, and engage in supportive dialogue with a like-minded community.
What to Expect:
Guided Reflection & Discussion – Explore themes of healing, joy, grief, and aligned personal growth through thoughtful prompts and conversation.
Community Connection – Engage in a supportive, judgment-free space where your voice and experiences are honored.
Mindfulness & Somatic Practices – Participate in gentle grounding exercises, breathwork, or visualizations to help regulate emotions.
Practical Tools for Healing – Leave each session with affirmations, journaling prompts, and resources to support your journey beyond the gathering.
Who It’s For:
This space centers Black women seeking community, healing, and deeper self-reflection. Whether you're navigating a life transition, managing stress, or simply looking for a space where you can just be, you are welcome here.
Sessions are live only to ensure an intimate and present experience. Bring a journal, a quiet space, and an open heart. 💛
Join us as we hold space together—one month, one conversation, one moment at a time.
In April, we will explore Healing from Family Wounds
Family is supposed to be our first place of safety — but for many of us, it’s where the deepest wounds were formed.
This month in Holding Space, we’re gathering to reflect on the impact of those wounds — not to dwell in them, but to create room for honest acknowledgment, embodied release, and gentle reclamation. Whether you’re navigating complicated dynamics, grieving unmet needs, learning to set boundaries, or redefining what family means for you, this space is for you.
✨ Holding Space is a monthly offering centering Black women and our experiences. This isn’t group therapy — it’s a soft place to land. Come as you are. We’ll reflect, breathe, share, and begin again — together.
This month, we’ll explore:
The messages we internalized from our family stories
How family roles impact our sense of self and relationships
Reclaiming your truth when it was never reflected back to you
The power of boundaries, grief, and chosen family
Tools to support healing from emotional and generational pain
💜 There will be journal prompts, gentle somatic work, community sharing, and moments of reflection. This is a live-only space to protect the sacredness of what we’re building.
