“Black women have always known how to care for each other—and ourselves—even when the world didn’t have the language.”
Join us for We Been Knew: A Holding Space for Our Mental Health Truths, a community-rooted gathering designed to honor the inherited wisdom, emotional labor, and quiet resilience that Black women have carried for generations.
This is not a workshop about fixing yourself—this is a space to breathe, be witnessed, and name what you’ve always known to be true about your mental and emotional health.
Together, we’ll hold space for the realities we carry:
The exhaustion of always being “on”
The legacy of care that wasn’t always reciprocal
The inner knowing that sometimes got silenced to survive
Whether you’re thriving, surviving, or somewhere in between, you are welcome here. This space is intentionally created for Black women and will be held with love, care, and cultural attunement.
