Father’s Day Feels: A Holding Space for Black Women Navigating Complex Emotions

  • Online conference via Zoom (map)

What do you do with feelings that don’t quite fit the Hallmark version of Father’s Day? Whether it’s grief, anger, detachment, or something more difficult to name, this Holding Space is for you.

Join us on Sunday, June 22 at 12:30 - 2:30 PM EST for Father’s Day Feels, an interactive, heart-centered virtual space facilitated by Philicia Ross, LCSW-C, founder of Village of Sound Mind, and guest speaker Dr. Jason Herndon. Together, we’ll create a space for the layered, tender, and often unspoken realities that many Black women carry during this time of year.

This event isn’t about closure. It’s about connection and emotional resonance—making room for truth-telling, softening, and community support.

Whether you’re grieving a loss, navigating estrangement, unpacking trauma, honoring your chosen family, or simply unsure of how you feel, you're welcome here.
